Score of 11-15 Stop grinding for a moment. Scores indicate that you need to stop for a moment. What is a moment? It’s hard to define, but the signs are there that you need to ease up (don’t stop) on what you’re building…at least for a bit (5-7 days). Implement all of the ways to feel better and get back to building what you love from below. Score of 6-10 Pause the grind Take a day or two and get centered. This is an early warning indicator that your need a break. Take one before you start feeling worse. Implement a majority of the recommendations from the ways to feel better list below (though sleep is a must do). Score of 5 or less Take a breather. You’ve got this! All you need is a mini-break to get your grind on point. Implement a few of the items from the ways to feel better list below. Tips to feel better and get back to building what you love1. Rest! Get some sleep 2. Take breaks for the computer. 3. Visualize a moment where you were in complete joy. 4. Practice some positive self-care and creativity (that’s not associated with what you’re building). 5. Workout (or get moving)! 6. Acknowledge thoughts of fear and doubt and then acknowledge that there could be something awesome happening too. Make a deal with yourself that if you seriously plan another route (as in you’re doing research) again, you’ll give that thought more energy. Until then, stay the course.
